The Kachelhaus

The tiled house in Bielefeld's old town has been an eye-catcher since 1928 and is one of the most interesting buildings in the city. The house was commissioned by Wilhelm Harms and built by his friend, the Jewish architect Paul Löwenthal, who had it clad in green Meissen tiles.

Our gastronomy offers separate rooms for rest and groups, providing a place for cozy meetings or festive family celebrations. Located away from the main area, these separate rooms allow for an atmosphere of serenity and intimacy. Here, guests can dine in peace, enjoy lively conversation or simply relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
